FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) -- Lamar Butler scored 25 points and Tony Skinn added 22 to lead George Mason over Colonial Athletic Association leader Old Dominion 74-58 Wednesday night.
Butler and Jai Lewis, who scored nine points, both surpassed 1,000 career points for the Patriots (15-10, 1-6), who have now won eight of their last nine games.
Arnaud Dahi scored 14 points for Old Dominion (23-4, 13-2), and Alex Loughton added 10. The loss broke a five-game winning streak for the Monarchs.
George Mason outshot the Monarchs all night, including outscoring them in the paint 38-24. Old Dominion shot only 32.8 percent for the game, compared to George Mason's 51.8 percent.
