PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Mardy Collins scored a season-high 29 points and Temple beat Duquesne 68-62 on Wednesday night.
Antywane Robinson had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Owls (12-10, 8-3 Atlantic 10), who won despite shooting 32 percent from the field.
The Dukes (6-18, 3-8) were playing without freshman forward DeVario Hudson, who had food poisoning. Leading scorer Bryant McAllister, who averages 16.2 points per game, was held to four points and Duquesne shot 38 percent from the field.
The Dukes trailed 33-22 at halftime.
Jack Higgins had 19 points and Chauncy Duke added 12 for Duquesne, which got as close as four points with 10:41 to play.
Collins, who was one point shy of matching his career high, had eight rebounds and three steals.
Temple has won 10 of its last 11 games against Duquesne, which has lost four in a row overall.
