WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) -- Charles Lee scored 22 points and Kevin Bettencourt added 14 to lead Bucknell past Army 69-55 Saturday.
The Bison (18-8) used an 18-2 run during the middle of the first half to turn a 13-8 deficit into a 26-15 advantage with 3:42 remaining in the opening half. Lee hit two three-point buckets during that run.
The Black Knights (3-21) responded by scoring seven of the half's final nine points to trail 30-24 at halftime.
Bucknell outscored Army 24-9 over the opening 11 minutes of the second half, building a 21-point lead at 54-33 with 9:01 remaining in the game.
Six different players scored for the Bison in that surge, led by six points each from Lee and Darren Mastropaolo, along with five markers by Bettencourt.
Matt Bell led Army with a game-high 23 points. Grant Carter and Jarell Brown added 11 points apiece.
