HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) -- Kevin Hamilton scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Holy Cross to a 59-46 win over Colgate on Saturday in Patriot League basketball.
The Crusaders (20-5, 11-1) won their 12th straight game despite 32 percent shooting from the floor. Greg Kinsey had 14 points and Nate Lufkin scored 10.
Colgate (11-14, 6-6) shot 28 percent from the floor. Alvin Reed had 16 points, including three 3-pointers, and Andrew Zidar added 15.
Holy Cross led 28-26 at the half. After Colgate briefly tied the lead in the second period, the Crusaders responded with six straight points to go up for good.
Holy Cross scored 11 of its final 16 points from the foul line, where the Crusaders shot 20-of-30 for the game. The Raiders made 9 of 13 foul shots.
