HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) -- Robert Morris University beat Quinnipiac University 86-69 Saturday, leading by as many as 19 points in the second half.
Quinnipiac guard Rob Monroe scored 26 points and handed out seven assists.
With 14:25 to play in the first half, the game was tied at 14-14. But Robert Morris (12-13, 9-6) used a 22-8 run to go up by 14, 36-22, with 6:18 to play in the first half.
Quinnipiac (10-14, 6-9) scored the next eight points to get within 36-30. It would be the closest it would get for the rest of the game.
Robert Morris University led at the break, 46-33.
Van Crafton scored 12 points for the Bobcats, including four three-pointers.
Craig Benson added 11 for Quinnipiac.
