NEW YORK (AP) -- Tory Cavalieri scored 22 points and Christian Brown was 5-of-6 from 3-point range and added 20 to lead St. Francis, N.Y. to an 82-77 victory over Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, extending the Mountaineers' losing streak to six games.
Allan Sheppard had 18 points for the Terriers (12-12, 8-7 Northeast).
Charles Cook scored 30 points for the Mountaineers (6-18, 4-11), while Landy Thompson had 14 and Kiel Butler added eight points and 10 rebounds.
Cavalieri scored eight points in the Terriers' 9-2 run to close the first half. St. Francis outscored the Mountaineers 17-8 to start the second half and led 50-35 with 11:44 to go. Sheppard and Brown each had six points during the surge.
Mount St. Mary's made one last run, using a 19-12 burst to pull within 62-54 with 4:55 left. Mychal Kerse had five points in the run.
