INDIANAPOLIS (AP) George Hill scored 26 points on 9-of-10 shooting and dished 11 assists as Indiana-Purdue-Indianapolis extended its winning streak to a season-high five games by beating Chicago State 90-62 Tuesday.
Brandon Cole added 25 points and James Booyer had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Jaguars (15-10, 9-5 Mid-Continent Conference), who led 40-25 at the break.
Craig Franklin had 19 points for Chicago State (7-17,6-8). Tony Weeden added 16 points for the Cougars, who shot just 38.1 percent compared with 58.2 percent for IUPUI.
Chicago State had more points off turnovers than IUPUI (20-8) and outscored the Jaguars in the paint 34-32. But IUPUI went 11-of-22 from beyond the arc, led by Cole with 7-of-11, while the Cougars mustered just 5-of-22.
The Jaguars also shot 15-of-20 from the free-throw line, led by Hill's 7-of-7 and Akeem Clark's 4-of-4, while Chicago State shot 9-of-12.
