MACOMB, Ill. (AP) -- Eulis Baez had 19 points and four rebounds Saturday as Western Illinois beat Centenary 66-55.
Baez also had three assists and two steals for the Leathernecks (10-16, 6-9 Mid-Continent). Teammate Troy Okeson had 13 points, while Eliz Cepeda had eight points and eight rebounds.
Western Illinois led the Gents (3-23, 1-14 ) 32-25 at the half, behind 13-17 shooting. The Leathernecks only shot 8-18 in the second half, but scored half of their 34 points at the free throw line.
Western Illinois shot 60 percent from the field while holding Centenary to just 37.3 percent shooting.
Chad Maclies had a double-double for the Gents, scoring 20 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Clarke Jackson had 11 points and two steals.
No other Centenary player had more than nine points.
