CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Moussa Diagne had 19 points and two other Paladins scored in double digits as Furman beat Chattanooga 73-65 Saturday.
Furman (16-12, 9-7 Southern Conference) led 40-31 at the half and held the lead the rest of the game.
Chattanooga (17-10, 10-6) pulled to within three points, 46-43, at the 12:55 mark on a layup by Alphonso Pugh, but Furman went on a 9-0 run to build its lead to 55-43 with 9:46 left to play.
Quan Prowell had 15 points for the Paladins, and Robby Bostain added 11. Bostain led the team in rebounds with 14.
The Mocs were led by Chris Brown's 15 points. Brown also grabbed 9 rebounds.
