NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Darius Eason's layup with less than a second remaining lifted Arkansas-Little Rock to a 64-63 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday in a Sun Belt Conference game.
The game matched a pair of co-division leaders and was not decided until a trapped Zack Wright found Eason alone under the goal for the game winning shot.
Eason finished with 12 points and scored the game winning shot with less than a second remaining for the second time this month. He also scored the winner in the 55-53 victory at Western Kentucky.
Brandon Freeman led the Trojans (18-9, 10-4) with 25 points, 19 in the first half. Richard Hardman scored 10 for UALR and Wright had eight points.
Tiras Wade led ULL (17-10, 11-4) with 22 points. Brian Hamilton scored 12, Chris Cameron 9 and Orien Greene eight.
Freeman's 19 points carried the Trojans in the first half to a 35-30 advantage. He had five 3-pointers in the period.
After falling behind 37-30 in the second half, ULL hit it first seven shots of the period on its way to an 18-4 run and a 50-39 lead with 15:02 left.
The Trojans slowly worked their way back, getting to within a point twice but never regaining the lead until Eason's final basket.
