CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) --Dainmon Gonner scored 24 points to lead Southeast Missouri State to a 72-52 victory over Tennessee-Martin on Saturday night.
Gonner broke the game open with consecutive 3-pointers that gave Southeast Missouri State (14-13, 9-7 Ohio Valley) a 12-point lead with six minutes left.
After four lead changes, the Redhawks led 26-25 at halftime behind eight points each by Gonner and Derek Winans.
Jared Newsom led the Skyhawks (6-21, 3-13) with 19 points and six rebounds and Cleve Woodfork added 18 points.
For Southeast Missouri, Reggie Golson scored 15 points and Derek Winans added 12.
