SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Raphael Posey had 23 points and Andre Owens scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half as Texas-San Antonio beat Texas-Arlington 96-78 Saturday night.
Texas-San Antonio (13-12, 8-6 Southland Conference) outscored Texas-Arlington (12-13, 6-8) 63-43 in the second half.
Steven Thomas had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Rodrick Epps scored 15.
The Roadrunners took the lead for good after a 10-0 spurt gave them a 51-47 lead with 11:17 remaining.
Texas-San Antonio used another 10-0 run four minutes later to take a 70-55 lead.
Justin Harbert scored 13 points and Ray Selvage added 11 for Texas-San Antonio.
Texas-San Antonio hit 28-of-36 free throws in the second half.
Jarrett Howell and Brady Dawkins hit consecutive 3-pointers to end the first half and give Texas-Arlington a 35-33 halftime lead.
