CLEVELAND (AP) -- Ed McCants scored 21 points and Wisconsin-Milwaukee held Cleveland State to 30 percent shooting from the field in an 81-59 victory on Saturday night.
Joah Tucker added 16 points and Adrian Tigert 10 for the Panthers (22-5, 14-2 Horizon League).
Raheem Moss led Cleveland State (9-16, 6-10) with 27 points. The Vikings were playing their first game since leading scorer (17.1 points per game) and rebounder (8.3) Omari Westley was dismissed from the team for missing two practices and a game earlier in the week.
The Panthers scored the first four points and built a 45-33 halftime lead. Their lead never fell below 17 points in the final 17 minutes. Cleveland State hit just 6-of-31 shots from the field in the second half (19 percent).
