HOUSTON (AP) -- Mike Sneed had 20 points and 12 rebounds as Texas Southern ended the regular season with a 63-57 win over Alcorn State on Saturday night.
It was the sixth straight victory for Texas Southern (8-18, 6-12 Southwestern Athletic Conference), which had lost 15 in a row prior to its winning streak.
The double-double was the 14th for Sneed this season. Sean Walker added 16 points and five assists for the Tigers.
Delvin Thompson led Alcorn State (7-22, 6-12) with 18 points. Juan Wyatt had 14.
Alcorn State shot just 35 percent in the second half.
