WASHINGTON (AP) -- Jahsha Blunt scored 12 points and Delaware State wrapped up the second seed in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament with a 64-57 victory over Howard on Saturday.
Aaron Williams added 11 points and Terrence Hunter had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Hornets (16-13, 14-4), who held Howard to just 17 points in the first half and forced 15 turnovers for the game.
Will Gant scored 16 points and Daryl Hudson added 13 for the Bison (5-22, 2-16), who will be the No. 7 seed in the tournament.
The Hornets were never seriously threatened until late in the game. Darren Shine hit five of six free throws down the stretch to clinch Delaware State's fifth straight win.
