PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Mark Zoller scored 19 points and Penn held off a late Harvard charge to defeat the Crimson 85-68 on Saturday.
David Whitehurst had 16 points and Steve Danley added 14 for Penn (19-8, 12-1 Ivy) which has already clinched the Ivy League title and a berth in the NCAA tournament.
David Giovacchini had 12 points for Harvard, which finished its season 12-15, 7-7.
Leading 39-31 at the half, the Quakers went on a 21-10 run at the start of the second half, including 12 points by Zoller, to take their biggest lead, 60-41, with 13:24 remaining.
Harvard then outscored Penn 20-8, with a pair of 3-pointers each from Kevin Rogus and Zach Martin, to cut the margin to 68-61 at the 8:36 mark. Penn responded with a 9-2 spurt and the Crimson never threatened again.
Harvard was coached by assistant Bill Holden, filling in for Frank Sullivan, who had food poisoning.
