RUSTON, La. (AP) -- Paul Millsap scored 29 points as Louisiana Tech snapped a five-game losing streak and beat Tulsa 91-82.
The win gave Louisiana Tech (14-14, 9-9 Western Athletic Conference) the No. 5 seed in the WAC tournament.
Millsap also had 14 rebounds while Daevon Haskins had a career-high 24 points and six assists. Corey Dean chipped in with 19 points.
The Bulldogs had a team season-high 26 assists with Donell Allick turning in seven of those along with 13 points.
Tech led 48-46 at the halftime but Tulsa (9-19, 5-13) stayed close for most of the second half. Tech led by as many as six before the Golden Hurricane cut it to a two-point lead at 75-73 with 4:27 left. But the Bulldogs then went on a 7-0 run.
Jarius Glenn led Tulsa with 21 points and Anthony Price added 20.
Tech outrebounded Tulsa 37-30.
