FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) -- Ronnie Price scored 24 points to lead Utah Valley State to a 76-66 win over Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne on Saturday in the final regular season game for both teams.
It was the fourth straight win for Utah Valley (16-12) in its first season with a full Division I schedule.
IPFW (7-22), after leading 33-31 at the half, lost its shooting touch, hitting only 8-of-26 attempts in the second half, while Utah Valley hit on 51.7 percent of its shots (15-29). IPFW finished shooting 39.2 percent for the game, compared with 49.1 percent for the Wolverines.
Also scoring in double digits for Utah Valley were David Heck with 17 points and Pierre Thomas with 15. Thomas also had a game-high 11 rebounds.
David Simon's 18 points led IPFW, while Peter Campbell scored 12, and Beau Bauer, 10.
