DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -Brian Roberts made four out of eight 3-point attempts and finished with 14 points to lead Dayton to a 66-34 shellacking of Coppin State Saturday.
Chris Wright added 13 points for Dayton (8-2), which saw 11 different players score in a game in which the Flyers never trailed. Dayton got 24 points from their bench, while Coppin State (3-8) received none.
The Flyers shot over 50 percent from the field, including 41 percent from 3-point range. Dayton dominated both halves of the game, heading into the locker room at halftime with a 32-15 lead.
Tywain McKee scored 12 points and Vince Goldsberry had 10 for Coppin State, which shot only 31 percent from the field.
