NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -Chris Moore scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half as Charleston Southern ralllied past Gardner-Webb for an 80-69 victory Saturday night.
The Buccaneers (5-5) trailed 47-43 after Nate Blank's two foul shots with about 13 minutes left. Then Moore followed with one of his five 3-pointers and Shelton Carter added a layup to move Charleston Southern in front.
After Gardner-Webb (5-7) regained the lead, 54-53, on Thomas Sanders' jumper, Jamarco Warren hit a bucket and Moore another 3-pointer to put the Buccaneers in front for good, 58-54.
Shelton Carter finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Omar Carter added 19 points for Charleston Southern.
Aaron Linn led Gardner-Webb with 22 points.
