EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) -Evansville shot 51.1 percent from the field and dominated most of the game on the way to a 57-44 win over Hanover on Saturday night.
Nate Garner and Jason Holsinger paced the Purple Aces (4-5) with 11. Pieter van Tongeren grabbed 13 of the Aces' 27 rebounds.
Marc O'Leary had 12 to lead the Panthers (6-3).
Hanover trailed 8-5 early and tied it up with a 3-pointer by Clint Parker. Evansville's Kavon Lacey answered with a layup to make it 10-8 and the Aces never trailed again. Evanville led 28-23 at halftime.
The Panthers outrebounded the Aces 28-27 and had 12 second-chance points to Evansville's nine. But the Aces beat them in the paint (34-18) and off turnovers (15-9).
