DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -Milan Pradanovic had 18 points to lead Iona to an 87-81 victory over New Hampshire on Saturday.
The Gaels (3-7) won for the third time in four games with an 11-1 run after New Hampshire had taken a 69-68 lead with 6:31 left. The lead reached 11 before Eric Gilchrese scored the last four of his 20 points for the Wildcats (3-7).
Tyrece Gibbs also had 20 points for New Hampshire, which lost its sixth straight. Dexter Gray and DeShaune Griffin each had 13 for the Gaels.
Iona led 39-35 at the half, and expanded the lead to 50-43 before New Hampshire scored six straight points on threes by Gilchrese and Gibbs. The game stayed close until Iona's decisive run.
