HAMPTON, Va. (AP) -Rashad West had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead Hampton to a 55-48 win over St. Bonaventure on Saturday.
St. Bonaventure was ahead 44-41 when Adrian Woodard hit a 3-pointer with 8:23 on the clock to tie it up. Donte Harrison's layup with 7:56 left to play put the Pirates (5-4) ahead for good.
Harrison had 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting for Hampton.
Tyler Relph had 13 points and two rebounds and Hillary Haley had 13 points and five rebounds for the Bonnies (5-6).
The Pirates shot 39 percent from the field, to the Bonnies' 29 percent and Hampton outrebounded St. Bonaventure 49-39.
