HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) -Sean Baptiste had a game-high 26 points as Fairleigh Dickinson built a 13-point second half lead then held on to defeat Stony Brook 74-71 Saturday night.
Baptiste was one of four players in double figures for FDU (3-5). John Galvin and Eric Hazard had 12 points apiece and Bernell Murray added 11.
Ricky Lucas led Stony Brook (3-8) with 25 points. Demetrius Young had his second double-double of the season for the Seawolves with 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
Lucas helped bring the Seawolves back in the second half, scoring 20 points in the period, including 4-of-5 attempts from 3-point range.
