ATLANTA (AP) -Leonard Mendez tied the game with one second left in regulation, then scored six points in overtime to help Georgia State beat Texas-San Antonio 76-71 on Saturday night.
Mendez finished with 22 points for the Panthers (3-6), who rallied from an 11-point deficit in the second half to earn the victory.
Trae Goldston added a season-high 18 points, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, and Deven Dickerson had 10 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.
Keith Spencer had 12 points and 10 rebounds for his eighth career double-double, and Devin Gibson had 14 points and seven assists for the Roadrunners (4-4).
