CONWAY, S.C. (AP) -Mason Ambler scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as Division II Coker upset Coastal Carolina 80-59 Saturday in the season opener.
Josh Poston contributed 18 points and seven rebounds for the Cobras.
Coastal Carolina was paced by Anthony Breeze, who scored 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Joseph Harris chipped in with 13 points in the losing effort.
Coker shot 53.8 percent from the field (28-for-52). The Cobras also shot 74.1 (20-for-27) percent from the free-throw line.
Coastal Carolina shot 38 percent (19-for-50) on the night. They also shot 20 percent (4-for-20) from 3-point range.
