MURRAY, Ky. (AP) -Kevin Thomas scored 18 points and five assists to help Murray State beat Lyon 84-46 on Saturday night.
Tony Easley had 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the Racers' season opener.
The Scots were led by Quinn Cooper, who scored 13 points.
Murray State trailed 10-8 with 12 minutes left in the first half before going on a 19-1 run. The Racers claimed a 43-13 lead at halftime.
The Racers had a 40-point lead in the second half. Ten of the 11 Murray State players scored, including four others who scored in double digits.
