NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Brian Wright scored 21 points to lead Lipscomb to a 121-54 season-opening rout of Oakland City on Saturday.
Wright shot 8-for-12 from the field, and blocked two shots. Josh Slater and Rob Murphy added 15 points apiece for the Bisons.
The Mighty Oaks were paced by Nathan Schumacher and Brandon Hopf, who scored 11 points each.
The Bisons shot 61 percent from the field (47-for-77). Limpscob shot 16-for-20 from the free-throw line.
Oakland City shot 37.9 percent (22-for-58) for the game. The Mighty Oaks also shot only 50 percent from the free-throw line (8-for-16).
