BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -Andy King scored 15 points in 14 minutes to lead Samford past Campbellsville 73-54 on Thursday night.
King led four players in double figures for the Bulldogs (2-1). Trey Montgomery and Josh Davis scored 13 points each, and Josh Bedwell had 12 for Samford.
Samford scored 29 points in the paint and 17 off of turnovers.
Aaron Wyatt led Campbellsville (1-1) as its only scorer in double figures, with 11 points. When Samford's starters were out, the Bulldogs' bench players scored 32 points compared to 19 by Campbellsville's bench.
