HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -Abdulai Jalloh scored 16 points to lead James Madison to an 82-69 win over Kennesaw State in its home opener on Friday. Jalloh also grabbed five rebounds, and led five players in double-figure scoring.
Devon Moore contributed 15 for the Dukes (2-1), and also shot 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Julius Wells scored 13 points for James Madison, while Pierre Curtis and Andrey Semenov added 12 points apiece.
The Owls (2-2) were led by Jon-Michael Nickerson, who scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double. John Allison chipped in for Kennesaw State with 15 points and six rebounds.
