MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) -Ifeanyi Koggu and Michael Lance made key free throws and scored 13 points apiece to lead Arkansas State to a 76-67 win over Tennessee-Martin on Tuesday night.
The Red Wolves (3-1) shot 52.2 percent (24 of 46) from the floor while the Skyhawks (2-2) shot only 36.7 percent (22 of 60). Arkansas State also made 20 of 26 free throws compared to 11 of 14 for Tennessee-Martin.
Koggu was 8 of 10 from the free-throw line and Lance made 6 of 7.
Lester Hudson scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Skyhawks. Marquis Weddle chipped in 22 points for Tennessee-Martin.
The Red Wolves outrebounded the Skyhawks 34-27.
