FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) -Theron Wilson and Sam Maniscalco scored 13 points each and Bradley held off Florida Gulf Coast University 58-54 on Tuesday night.
Will Egolf had a key basket and steal, then made two free throws with 7.1 seconds left to clinch the game for the Braves (2-2) in the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.
Reggie Chambers scored 13 points for Florida Gulf Coast (1-3) while Kyle Marks, Derrick O?Neil and Reed Baker added 11 points each.
Trailing 49-47, the Eagles had five chances to tie or take the lead but missed four shots and had a turnover.
In the first half, Florida Gulf Coast led 30-23 but went scoreless for the last 3:35 of the period. Bradley cut the lead to 30-28 at halftime.
Bradley's 19-4 run at the end of the first and start of the second half gave the Braves a 42-34 lead. The Eagles had just one field goal in a 10:16 span.
