MIAMI (AP) -Chris Moore matched his career high with 17 points and Cleveland State defeated Toledo 77-56 on Tuesday.
The Vikings (3-2), who had struggled offensively the first four games, shot a season-high .545 from the field (30 of 55) in the second round of the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.
Moore didn't miss all night, hitting eight field goals - including a pair of two-handed dunks - and one free throw.
Cleveland State's Cedric Jackson nearly posted the first triple-double in school history with 11 points, nine assists and eight rebounds while adding a season-high five steals.
Cleveland State led 33-16 at halftime after holding the Rockets (0-4) to 20 percent (4 of 20) shooting from the field and forcing 13 turnovers in the first half.
Tyrone Kent led Toledo with 22 points, 16 in the second half, while Justin Anyijong added 10 points.
