FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) -Nick Daniels, Ben Botts, David Carson and Deilvez Yearby each scored 11 points as Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne defeated Indiana-East 79-36 on Tuesday night.
IPFW (2-2) shot 49 percent from the field as 11 different Mastodons scored.
Cory Sitton led East (7-4) with eight points.
IPFW led 35-17 at halftime. The Mastodons held the Red Wolves to 29 percent shooting before the break.
IPFW shot 56 percent in the second half to extend the lead. The final margin of 43 points was the Mastodons' largest lead.
IPFW outrebounded the Red Wolves 38-25 and outscored them 10-1 from the free-throw line.
The Mastodons shot 9-for-21 from 3-point range. Daniels and Botts both went 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.
