BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -Nick Stallings scored 19 points and Centenary defeated Alcorn State 64-51 on Saturday night.
Anthony Gatlin scored 15 points and nine rebounds for the Gentelman (2-5), who outrebounded Alcorn State 43-30. David Perez finished with 12 points in the LSU Classic.
Troy Jackson scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had four steals for the Braves (0-6). Brandon Roger had 11 rebounds.
Both teams shot no better than 34 percent from the field, but Centenary shot 41.7 percent from 3-point range (10 of 24).
