NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -Jeremy Hazell paced a balanced scoring attack with 17 points and Eugene Harvey added 15, leading Seton Hall to a 75-70 win over Delaware on Saturday.
The Blue Hens (2-4) led 45-34 early in the second half before the Pirates (5-1) went on an 18-4 run to take a 52-49 lead on a 3-point field goal from Paul Gause.
Delaware managed to draw even at 67-all on a 3-pointer by Marc Egerson, who paced Delaware with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
John Garcia, who had 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds, made one free throw that gave the Pirates the lead for good with 2:40 left.
Freshman Jordan Theodore added a career-high 13 points for the Pirates.
Jawan Carter scored 17 points and Alphonso Dawson and Jim Ledsome had 13 points each for Delaware. Ledsome also grabbed 10 rebounds.
