CANCUN, Mexico (AP) -Brad Tinsley scored 19 points and three other Vanderbilt players scored in double figures to defeat Drake 72-57 on Saturday night.
Jeffery Taylor scored 15 points, Jermaine Beal had 14 and A.J. Ogilvy with 13 for the Commodores (4-1).
Vanderbilt made 10 of its 21 3-pointers, as with Tinsley hit 5 of 8 from beyond the arc in the semifinals of the Cancun Challenge. The Commodores also shot 24 of 51 from the field, while the Bulldogs (2-2) were 16 of 45.
Jonathan Cox and Josh Parker each scored 12 points for Drake. Josh Young scored 10.
