COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Frank Davis scored 22 points and six other Tennessee Tech players scored in double figures to easily handle Louisiana-Monroe 108-70 on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles (4-1) opened the game with a 16-2 lead, sparked by two 3-pointers by Will Barnes, who finished with 13 points. Davis, who made 6-of-7 shots from beyond the arc, hit consecutive 3-pointers to put Louisiana-Monroe ahead 50-28 with 41 seconds left in the first half.
Alfred Jones, who finished with 10 points, made a 3-pointer and Barnes' dunk with 5:49 remaining gave Tennessee Tech a 94-62 lead.
Alex Davis scored 13 points, Zach Bailey had 12 and Darnell Lindsey added 10 for the Golden Eagles.
Rudy Turner scored 14 points for the Warhawks (2-3). Brandon Williams and Jarvis Hill each had 12 points.
