LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -Matt Mouzy scored 21 points and had three steals to lead Arkansas-Little Rock to a 67-59 victory Saturday night over Loyola Marymount.
Mouzy, a sophomore guard from Jonesboro, hit five of eight 3-pointers in the win for Arkansas-Little Rock (5-0). Steven Moore added 12 points for the Trojans, while John Fowler had 11 points.
Loyola Marymount (0-6) came out strong, holding the lead until Moore hit a 3-pointer to put the Trojans ahead 27-26 with 5:25 left in the first half. The Trojans never lost the lead for the rest of the game.
Arkansas-Little Rock also outscored the Lions 25-3 on points from the bench.
Jarred DuBois had 23 points in the loss for Loyola Marymount, while Corey Counts and LaRon Armstead each added 11 points.
