LAS VEGAS (AP) -David DuBois had a team-high 18 points, including a layup with 0.9 seconds left to lead Western Illinois to a 62-60 victory against Texas-Pan American at the Global Sports Classic on Saturday.
Western Illinois trailed by 10 points with eight minutes to play before going on a 12-2 run to tie the game at 56 with 3:30 left.
Quenton Kirby had consecutive baskets for Western Illinois to cap the comeback. Rodney Williams Jr., Tommie Tyler and David Nurse each added seven points for Western Illinois (2-5).
Texas-Pan American (2-5) was led by Emmanuel Jones 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Nathan Hawkins had 13 points and Nick Weiermiller added 12 points.
