COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -Matt Holland scored 21 points and Anwar Johnson added 19 to help lead Air Force to a 67-55 win over Northern Illinois on Wednesday night.
Andrew Henke added 14 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Falcons (5-2).
Air Force overcame an early deficit and took a double-digit lead, 21-11, with 6:11 remaining in the first half. The Falcons went into the break ahead 29-22.
The Huskies (3-5) went on an 11-5 run in the second half and cut Air Force's lead to 41-38 with 12:38 remaining. But the Falcons responded with a 15-4 run, and took their largest lead of 16 points, 62-46, with 4:44 remaining.
Darion Anderson and Mike Dinunno led the Huskies with 15 points apiece. Sean Smith came off the bench to add nine points, while Sean Kowal led the team with 11 rebounds.
