SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -Texas State got 64 points from its bench and four players reached double digits in a 110-65 victory over the Southwest Assemblies of God on Wednesday night.
John Bowman and Cameron Johnson each scored 14 from the bench on a combined 12-of-19 shooting night for the Bobcats (3-3).
Texas State starters Brent Benson and Ty Gough scored 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Jeremy Carey led the Lions (4-2) and was the game's high scorer with 20 points. He also had six rebounds and one assist in the game. Carey made three out of four shots from 3-point range and was 7-of-18 overall.
