JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -Ben Smith scored 18 points and Jacksonville beat Lipscomb 83-67 on Saturday.
The Dolphins (2-5, 2-0 Atlantic Sun) shot 51.6 percent (33 of 64), including a 7-for-9 night by Smith.
Travis Cohn, who added 14 points on 7 of 10 shooting, while Ayron Hardy scored 13 and Lehmon Colbert had 11 for Jacksonville.
The Bisons (3-4, 1-1) were led by 17 points from Brandon Brown. Josh Slater and Adnan Hodzic added 13 and 12, respectively.
Jacksonville outrebounded Lipscomb 38-24, while grabbing 16 offensive boards.
The Dolphins, who overcame a 19-point deficit to defeat Belmont on Thursday, led the Bisons 30-21 at halftime.
