COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Stephen Hall scored 19 points to help Jacksonville State beat Tennessee Tech 82-66 in both team's conference opener on Saturday night.
Hall led three other Gamecocks players in double figures. Jonathan Toles scored 17 points, Nick Murphy had 14 points and Jeremy Bynum added 13.
Tennessee Tech (5-2, 0-1 Ohio Valley Conference) committed 25 fouls to send the Gamecocks (6-1, 1-1) to the free-throw line 31 times, making 18 of their attempts.
The Gamecocks shot 50 percent from the field (29 of 58) in both team's conference opener.
Tennessee Tech was led by Alex Davis with 13 points and Zach Bailey with 10.
