BOSTON (AP) -Damier Pitts scored five of his career-high 20 points from the foul line in the final 41 seconds Saturday, helping Marshall beat Boston University, 84-80.
Shaquille Johnson and Tyler Wilkerson added 15 points apiece as the Thundering Herd placed five players in double figures and won by going 12-for-14 from the foul line over the 1:41.
Chris Lutz had 12 points and Markel Humphrey 11 points and six rebounds for Marshall (3-4), which didn't have a field goal over the final 2:18 but was 25-for-30 from the line in the second half.
BU (4-3) lost for the seventh straight time in the regular season at Agganis Arena, its second home.
Corey Lowe scored career-high 36 points for BU. John Holland added 14 points and Tyler Morris 13 for the Terriers.
