BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) -Oral Roberts rebounded from a conference-opening loss earlier in the week to beat South Dakota State 85-76 Saturday in the Summit League.
Robert Jarvis scored 23 points for ORU. He was joined in double figures by Andre Hardy with 16 points, Kyron Stokes with 12 and Kelvin Sango and Marcus Lewis with 11 each.
The Golden Eagles (4-5, 1-1) shook off a loss this week to North Dakota State with a combination of good shooting and strong rebounding. ORU shot 60 percent from the field to take a 41-32 lead into halftime and followed that with a 56-percent effort in the second half to keep the Jackrabbits (4-6, 1-1) from getting back in the game.
ORU outrebounded SDSU 36-22.
Garrett Callahan paced SDSU with 18 points, Clint Sargent added 16 and Josh Cassaday chipped in 14.
