HAMMOND, La. (AP) -Reserve Robert Tibbs scored 22 points and Southeastern Louisiana beat Southern of New Orleans 108-51 on Saturday night.
Southeastern Louisiana (4-3) led 6-4, before going on a 17-0 run that was sparked by Brandon Fortenberry's 3-pointer with 16:09 left in the first half.
DeShawn Patterson highlighted the first half when he stole the ball from Ronald Palmer and finished with a dunked to give Southeastern Louisiana a 32-9 lead with 8:02 left. The Knights (0-5) pulled no closer than 20 points.
Kevyn Green added 20 points for the Lions, followed by 14 from Fortenberry and 12 by Warrell Span.
Billy Wilson led the Knights with 17 points.
The 57-point victory was the fourth-largest margin in school history for the Lions.
