FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -Kevin Langford scored 20 points and TCU overcame an eight-point deficit to defeat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 66-53 on Saturday.
Langford shot 6-of-8 from the field and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line to lead TCU (7-2). Ronnie Moss added 11 points and Keion Mitchem scored 10.
Kevin Palmer's six steals tied a school record for the Islanders (4-4), who forced 20 turnovers. He finished the game with 13 points and four assists. LaMarr Drake also scored 13.
The Horned Frogs shot just 37 percent from the field in the first half and fell behind 30-22 at the break. But they made 5-of-6 from 3-point range in the second half and shot 61 percent from the field, outscoring the Islanders by 21 points.
