MILWAUKEE (AP) -James Eayrs scored 14 points and hit four 3-pointers to lead Wisconsin-Milwaukee to a 66-59 Horizon League victory over Wright State on Saturday.
Tone Boyle added 11 points for the Panthers (5-4, 2-0) and Tony Meier had 10, as Milwaukee won its second straight game.
The winless Raiders (0-6, 0-2) were led by John David Gardner with 14 points and Cory Cooperwood with 12.
Milwaukee has won 13 of its last 16 games against Wright State, including 10 in a row at home since 1998.
The Panthers led 39-24 after Anthony Hill scored the first basket of the second half. But the Raiders battled back for their first lead of the game, 54-53, on a layup by Gardner.
Deonte Roberts scored with 3:52 remaining to put Milwaukee back on top 55-54. The Panthers closed out with an 11-5 run to seal the win.
Milwaukee led 37-24 halftime.
