NEW YORK (AP) -Senior guard Justin Drummond scored a career-high 18 points to lead Wagner to an 83-74 victory over Yale on Saturday.
Jamal Smith and Joey Mundweiler both had 17 points for the Seahawks (5-2), who led 38-33 at halftime.
Alex Zampier had 18 of his 25 points in the second half for Bulldogs (2-5), while Ross Morin added 16.
Smith's 3-pointer with 4:01 remaining gave Wagner a 71-63 lead. The Bulldogs were able to close within 76-74 on Travis Pinick's three-point play with 1:01 to go, but the Seahawks scored the last seven points of game, four by Smith.
